There are organizations for every branch of the military, such as Army, Air Force, and Navy. Whether you were or are currently a part of an infantry division, an Army nurse, or a pilot, there is a veterans and military organization out there for you. Make appointments with each organization. Meet with staff and take note if staff members are helpful and accommodating. Speak with the organization members about their efforts and mission, and whether there is a place for you in their organization. Make sure the organization’s mission gels with your vision. Inquire about membership fees, and regular meetings or events you should attend.
